The timeframe's not crucial to the prompt. If you, or anyone else, has an idea in mind, please carry on. I'd love to read it.

Different anon would like to suggest the idea of Marcone gaining power along the canon timeline. And having the Ghost Thief transform in his mind from a minor curiosity to a biting, blistering, gnawing thorn in his side once he thinks of all of Chicago as HIS territory. Perhaps even having thoughts that while Bianca also trespasses in his city and is morally abhorrent to boot, at least she has the decency to be identifiable. All of this territorial obsession built up before he actually catches the Ghost Thief and then soulgaze...

OP only cares that when John catches him, Harry be about the same age, 25ish?, as he is in Storm Front.
