Mods, could you add a link to the "View=flat" chronological option on the Overflow post?

Thanks!

Round 1 and 2

(Anonymous) 2011-04-02 02:58 am (UTC)(link)
Is there a way to access Round 1 and 2 fills that have been completed?

(Anonymous) 2011-04-02 02:51 pm (UTC)(link)
There are several fics in first two rounds that for some reason were not updated in some time. I was wondering if you could maybe make a separate post in which devoted readers could remind the authors about them and ask for the continuation of certain stories...

1. The link to this post from the Round Three post is linking to the wrong thing. :)

2. Can mods please do something about this prompt (http://dresden-kink.dreamwidth.org/1288.html?thread=65544#cmt65544)? Back on round two we already had the discussion about that term regarding trans people, at length, and for a couple of reasons I'd rather not engage on the meme again.

Round-robins

(Anonymous) 2011-04-07 06:40 am (UTC)(link)
I was wondering, could we maybe have a post for round-robins? I know there were none in first two rounds but I think it might me fun...

(Anonymous) 2011-04-14 07:47 pm (UTC)(link)
There's a prompt I want to add a second fill to. The prompt is from an earlier round but has already been reposted in overflow...mistakenly I think, since they started with part one.

Should I repost the prompt in round three, as an unstarted fill, or just reply to the reposted prompt in overflow to reduce the amount of prompt reposting?

Delete this?

The fail is strong in this one. -faceplam- I forgot the add warnings/pairings and whatnot in the subject line. Please delete this (http://dresden-kink.dreamwidth.org/1288.html?thread=345096#cmt345096)so that I can repost it with the proper tags.

Thank you. =(

I have a suggestion/idea/thought - what about having an 'update' entry in the kink meme? Authors would post links to their fills/updates when they update (also stating if it's from the overflow entry or from round 3), which would make things much easier for the readers who follow more than one fill?

IDK if this is a good idea, but...

How would you feel about using the community to make a Friending Meme for the fandom in a separate post? Or has one been made already in a different community?

I think there are some new people coming in to the fandom through the Kinkmeme (I know I'm one and have heard of others in the comments) who might like to meet other like-minded fans and find out more about the resources available for the Dresden Files fandom. It's hard to meet new people when most of them are writing and commenting anonymously, which is of course the point of the kinkmeme :D So, maybe a separate post where thus who want to meet can?

(Anonymous) 2011-05-10 08:07 am (UTC)(link)
I was in a hurry and left off the tags, would it be acceptable to put them in a comment under the first post or does it need to be deleted and reposted?

How active is the secretary anon? I've noticed that the archiving has gone down a lot recently. I'm happy to help out if need be.

What are the rules for a second fill to a reposted prompt?

[personal profile] cathrinerose 2011-05-11 06:35 pm (UTC)(link)
[personal profile] forestgreen has just started a fill of a round two fic (Accountant!Harry) I've been working on.

They are quite different fics and I was thinking of posting my fill to the meme too. Should I post my fill as a reply to the prompt repost, start another thread, or something else?

(Anonymous) 2011-05-15 04:52 am (UTC)(link)
Hi, I was wandering if there was some way you could introduce a summary page for all fills, a sort of content page so you could look through.
It's just really daunting to look at a prompt and see over 1ooo pages to look through, and you know how sometimes when there's too much comments so the title is compressed to ... so it's really hard to find the fills.

Um, and thank you for creating this meme I was really disappointed with fanfic.net and AO3 only had so much so this was a god send.

have a good day
:D

Hey mods,

Could you post a note asking writers to either title their chapters or put warnings at the top of each chapter for those of us reading the flat view so we know what we're in for? You can't tell the warnings until you've scrolled past the latest chapter to click for the parent post and it's impossible to do that without reading some of it.

Hello mods,

I'm a bit new to this and I wanted to know some ground rules. I have a fic that I've written for one of the prompts that I found here

http://luciazephyr.dreamwidth.org/530277.html

Now the post said that the prompt was closed and being a bit of a virgin at this so to speak, Im not sure where it goes or even what round it's from. It's the magic sex toy prompt. Any chance you could let me know if or where I can post it and give a few pointers? I'm more of a reader than a writer and I dont want to annoy anyone by messing up the prompts.

thanks very much,

Van

Favor Please

May I ask a favor of the mods?

I've noticed a few people posting reminder posts about prompts already posted and the mods reminding them where those posts should go. I know these are supposed to go to the contender thread (I've posted there myself!), but could we have a handy link-and-reminder in the main part of the post? Just thinking that it might help clarify things. :)

I forgot to title part 3 and then reposted part 3 so if you could delete the two posts including the one pointing to the error I would be grateful.

Round Four?

(Anonymous) 2011-07-20 01:01 am (UTC)(link)
Just for my own reference, so I know when to look for the new post and subscribe to it, is there a set comment/time-frame I should be looking for "round four"? I think the others cut off somewhere around 4000 comments, but we've obviously passed that, and I have no idea what the max comments are for dreamwidth. ^^;

Just curious! That's all! :)

(Anonymous) 2011-07-30 08:43 pm (UTC)(link)
Lovely mods, could we please have a view=flat link on the Ghost Story only post too? I like reading that way, I'm too lazy to expand things!

(Anonymous) 2011-08-04 02:27 pm (UTC)(link)
Hey mods, the round 3 post has hit max comment limit. I think we need a round three overflow post, somewhere where the WiP fills can be continued, and folks can post feedback?

On the off chance posting here means you'll see this thread sooner before it potentially explodes:

Can we please have some kind of ruling on how much discussion/argument can happen in a prompt in the comments when there seems no intention to actually fill it? Things like this for example are very tiresome for people trying to follow the meme in flat view and want to actually read fills rather than debate semantics.

Delete Please?

(Anonymous) 2011-08-20 05:53 pm (UTC)(link)
Hello, mods.

Sorry to bother you with this request but could you please delete this post of mine (http://dresden-kink.dreamwidth.org/2675.html?thread=1891955#cmt1891955). I've re-written this part and made clearer the summary so there won't be any confusion. I don't have a dreamwidth account and I'm unsure if I could delete it myself without causing problems.

I've already posted the revised prologue and the new part one after it.

Thank you for all the help!

Hi. I was just wondering, can we have a prompt freeze? Y'know, where no one can prompt until a certain amount of time has passed, or a certain number of prompts have been filed? Because we really do need more fills. It's starting to get to the point where there are mostly prompts, and no stories to read.

I'm not a mod, but I think the reason we have less fills is because it is the school year. Schedules just got a lot busier for a lot of people. Besides, it is easy to make a prompt, not so much to write a fill.

Delicious Account Problem

(Anonymous) 2011-10-13 09:13 pm (UTC)(link)
Delicious seems to be having technical difficulties as it's saying that the newest links are from August. On a related note, can we have a List of Filled Prompts Post please?
