Yeah, that's what made it part of my head canon. =) Am waiting (im)patiently and hopefully for that to be filled.

A young runner is sent to give this message during an Outfit meeting.
'Mr. Marcone. The latest intellegence reports mass of what appear to be zombie is attacking the apartment building at 1313 Windsor ln.' Many gasps go out around the room. 'Okay, who do we have close to that area Mr.Hendricks?' 'Mr.Marcone sir. I and at least half of this room would like to go.' 'Ah yes family alright head out.' As the group is heading out to the vehicles. Marcone speaks again, 'Mr.Dresden has informed us ,at the last attack by the walking dead, that the only effective way to get rid of them is as he put 'Hacking them to pieces and flambeing the remains' Stay in groups of 3 no matter what.' Onward they go. 10 minutes later (of what should have been 25 min.) They arrive to see all of their aunts/nannas/momma soundly decimating the horde. The group of 26 grown men armed to the teeth are standing around gawking like teenagers. With the pyre lit the ladies turn to see Marcone and company. 'What are boys standing around for you need to help that nice young man' proclaim one of the ladies followed by various choruses of 'Now (insert relations name) avante' And chagrined reply of yes momma, nanna, auntie). Hendricks looks to Marcone and says you know that 'nice young man' they are refering to is Dresden don't you?' Marcone blinks, nods, and rushes (well we know rushing for Marcone would be a brisk collected walk to us) off to tend to Dresden. As soon as he is out of sight Hedricks chuckles to himself. 'I don't know why your standing there laughing when everyone else to work Hamish' Hendricks pales and turns toward the speaker. 'Sorry Nonni' and he rushes off to help Johnnie with Dresden.

<3 I flailed in adoration when I first saw that ficlet. Unfortunately it just whetted my appetite for more. <3 I'm hoping others pick it up and do something with it.
