Umm, original meta post is here if anyone needs the link:

And yay to a new round and community! Also, I think the captcha is still on.

Ahh, must be it. Forgot about that. :)

Oh mods, dear mods, would you be willing to turn off the adult content warning for the overall community (and then only put it on the actual prompt/fill posts, if you have to?)

When one is reading logged-out to avoid anon fails, it means one has to click through two or three extra screens to get to the content, which I understand for porn purposes might be necessary, but's its really annoying to have to do it for the discussion posts and everything else, too. (And to not be able to even see the rules without clicking through the three extra screens...)

(other than that, yay for new community!)

Thank you so much! (And I've just realized this should probably have gone on the dear-mods post instead, sorry!)

Anons, is the delicious account hard to navigate? I'd like to know if there are essential tags that you think are missing.

(Mods, is it alright if I use this thread for delicious account-related concerns?)

(Thank you.)

Per the Anon who posted the "quick question" earlier...

I'm willing to create an ff.net account and post fills there (or at AO3), but I'm NOT willing to go searching for fills to put there, and I don't want to post fills that author!nons will be putting under their own accounts anywhere else (especially without their permission).

That being said, if I create an account on either site and only post fills that authors "send" me by posting links on certain thread, is this something that would be wanted? Or would this cause more problems?

Ugh, fuck FF.Net, srsly. Pit of Voles. AO3 all the way.

Anyone else kind of want a Dresden Files Dressing Room?

It is the dumping ground of any fanfiction that has no place anywhere else. It is muck and waste and absolute sewage to work through. It has a few very good gems buried underneath that muck, but it takes ages to find them and they are easier to find by simply finding a rec with a link to ff.net than by searching yourself. They are buried but they are there.

That being said, I thought I'd offer the option, as it was mentioned in the original question. ^^;

Hmm. Maybe an overflow tag for the wipfills that are split between their round and the overflow post? (Thanks for all your hard work!)

I'd like a differentiation between 'complete fill' and 'incomplete fill'?

Re: Delicious account

(Anonymous) 2011-04-02 12:42 pm (UTC)(link)
Alright, I will do that once I finish tagging the second round. I'll also provide links in the round two fills to their overflow counterparts. Give me a week, is that okay?

(You're welcome.)

All prompts are tagged filled. If they're incomplete/ongoing, I tag them with _filled.wip . Once they're complete I remove the _filled.wip tag

Do you mean to request a tag for _fills.complete? Because that would mean going back up to round one to tag the prompts, when it's easier to just ignore all those tagged wip.

(And damn, please ignore the fact that I just de-anoned myself. Please. I fear for my safety.)

Wasn't quite sure where to ask this so thought I'd stick it here...

Can anyone tell me what delicious tag was used for the "OPEN PROMPT" in Round 2? I couldn't figure it out browsing through the delicious account and am unsure if I just keep missing it or whatnot.

You're not missing it. I haven't tagged it yet. (Sorry for that.) I'll be tagging it as *open.prompt, and placing the tag in Tag Bundles: Other Threads.

Awesome, thanks for the quick response! BTW, great job keeping up with the meme. It must get overwhelming sometimes!

You're welcome.

Thanks. I'll be on a lighter schedule for a couple of weeks and will do my best to catch up on the untagged prompts.

When you've worked for Mr. Marcone, tagging a couple hundred prompts doesn't seem as overwhelming.

My apologies. Sort of. You've gotten me to go back and check and I've realised that the problem is a curse of the way that I'm following the delicious account. I've got the '_filled' tag tracked via rss, so obviously both .wip and (.complete) end up on the rss feed, and unfortunately the rss feed doesn't show tags so I can't see that it's also tagged .wip and so they're all just- lumped together? Having a .wip that instead gets edited to be a .complete (instead of removed) would be ideal for me at least, but ~250 filled prompts wouldn't inspire wanting go through and edit them all, no.
