Traditionally, the demon Asmodeus likes to lift up the roofs of private houses so he can peer into the going-ons within. It is believed that this is the origin of the word detection, from the Latin 'de-tegere' or 'unroof'. A good overview is here:

Now imagine what if this legend resurfaces to make Harry's life more interesting. Maybe there was a summoning of some sort featuring that word 'de-tegere' that botches in an entertaining fashion? Maybe Asmodeus seeks out Harry for whatever reason? Harry could be some sort of avatar of Asmodeus?
