Ok, looking at that again I agree, and he did manage to get the point across that family doesn't mean much to WCVs effectively enough that it could be taken as an argument that he did know. But McCoy seemed like he hadn't expected Dresden to go save Thomas rather than go after the traitor, which shouldn't have been a surprise if he knew about their link, because Dresden's pretty predictable. (Though if McCoy hadn't realized that Dresden knew they were brothers that could explain it as well, and I'm arguing myself in circles.)
Yeah. I tend to think of McCoy as 'seriously flawed good guy' myself, which may be coloring my opinions some (and I may be a bit too idealistic, also).
